I was born and raised in Roanoke, VA.  According to my parents, I learned to ride a bike in one day without training wheels when I was 3 years old. I’ve been at it ever since. Fortunately for me, I also learned to MTB in the mountains of VA, NC, and WVA. I now live in Idaho, but am glad to have the technical skills that I learned riding back East.
I currently live in Ketchum, Idaho. I moved here in 1997 “sight unseen” and have never looked back. I love it here and have never been to a place I’d rather live. We have hundreds of miles of singletrack rideable from town and thousands of miles in the region. I originally moved here for a winter of skiing and realized how great this place truly is when I saw what the summers have to offer. The “icing on the cake” about this place is that you can go out on the most popular “lunch ride” any day of the week and probably not see more than 2 other people. Personally, I really dig that!
