Andy, Puncheon, & Gato

Andy the travel companion spent the wee morning hours in Trephino Gorge, Australia cheering on Reba as she races in the Red Centre Enduro.  With 3 stages down and 2 to go, she’s sitting in second in the women’s GC and getting in more great spring training miles.

As for me, well, the riding quantity has been suffering a bit.  I’ve been quite busy with work, but am also fortunate enough to help build projects like this puncheon bridge over a boggy section on the Croy trails west of Hailey.

Not to mention that, after work, I got to head out for the inaugural ride on El Gato.  The bike is nothing short of incredible.  The smoothness of 29, the responsiveness of 26, while improving climbing traction……?  Um, OK….
